26 Oct UPEI Student Union President Brian Affouan Announces Resignation
The UPEI Student Union is sad to report that Brian Affouan announced his resignation from the position of President and CEO of the UPEI Student Union at the council meeting on Sunday, October 25, 2020. A copy of his official resignation letter can be found below.
The UPEI Student Union would like to thank Mr. Affouan for his contributions to the organization. He was a valuable member of our Executive team and he will be strongly missed. We wish him all the best with his studies at UPEI and on any future endeavours.
Affouan will remain in office until his successor has been elected. The UPEI Student Union will host a by-election to determine the following 2020-2021 Student Union President. Council approved the election dates at the October 25th council meeting. The dates for the by-election are as follows:
Nominations Period: October 30th to November 9th
Campaigning Period: November 10th to November 16th
Voting Period: November 17th to November 18th
