04 Nov UPEI Student Union Vice President Student Life Sierrah Laybolt Announces Resignation
The UPEI Student Union is sad to report that Sierrah Laybolt has announced her immediate resignation from the position of 2021-2022 Vice President Student Life of the UPEI Student Union on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. A copy of her official resignation letter can be found below.
The UPEI Student Union would like to thank Ms. Laybolt for her time with the organization and her overall efforts to improve the UPEI community during her time in office. We wish her all the best with her studies at UPEI and on any future endeavours.
The UPEI Student Union is currently hosting a by-election to determine the succeeding 2021-2022 Student Union Vice President Student Life, as well as the 2021-2022 Student Union President. Following the notice of resignation of previous Student Union President, Samantha MacLean, Council approved the election dates at the October 17th council meeting. The dates for the by-election are as follows:
Nominations Period: November 1st to November 12th
Campaigning Period: November 13th to November 22nd
Voting Period: November 23rd and November 24th
