Did you know that the UPEI Student Union operates the Panther Pantry, a food bank where students can access free food every two weeks?
The Panther Pantry supports UPEI students experiencing food insecurity. Our goal is to help make essential food and personal care items more accessible to students who need them.
Students can visit the Panther Pantry every two weeks to pick up a variety of food items, including eggs, milk, canned goods, and other essentials, depending on availability.
Please note that quantity limits apply to certain items to help us support as many students as possible.
In addition to food, the Panther Pantry also provides personal hygiene products, including pads and tampons.
Want to help support your fellow Panthers? Donations are greatly appreciated and accepted at any time at the UPEI Student Union Office, located on the second floor of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre, directly across from Tim Hortons.
Your generosity helps us continue providing essential resources to students in our campus community.
The Panther Pantry is operated by fellow students who are working hard to support our campus community. We kindly ask that everyone treat Pantry staff with kindness, patience, and respect.
If you have any concerns, complaints, or suggestions regarding the Panther Pantry, please contact the Vice-President Finance & Administration at vpfinance@upeisu.ca.
