The opt-out form is open from August 15th until September 27th, 2024.
Opt-out instructions:
- Go to studentbenefits.ca.(Do not log in)
- In the ‘type your school’ box, click on University of Prince Edward Island Student Union and press “Go”.
- Choose your enrollment status. (Whether you are an International Student or Domestic Student)
- Select ‘Opt Out’ from the list on the left hand side of the page. Your student ID number will need to be 9 digits long, add 000 in front of your 6 digit student ID number.
- Choose Current Annual Registration.
- Fill in personal information/upload proof of coverage.
You should see the refund to your student account within 10 business days of your opt-out being approved.
Please ensure to capture your submission ID upon opting out. (Either via screenshot or confirmation email)
