05 Apr Statement Regarding Mediation Between UPEI Faculty Association and UPEI Administration
The UPEI Student Union applauds the University and the UPEI Faculty Association for coming to an agreement to pursue mediation. We hope that this mediation process results in a reasonable, student-centered agreement that satisfies all parties and allows students to resume their classes as soon as possible. We urge the UPEIFA and UPEI Administration to remain committed to the mediation process until a satisfactory resolution is achieved.
The UPEISU has received numerous testimonials from students expressing their eagerness to return to class and their concerns about the future. We believe that prompt clarification regarding the plan to conclude the term and beyond will be beneficial to all parties involved.
