05 Apr UPEI Student Union Strike Consultation: Survey Results
On March 27, 2023, the UPEI Student Union sent out a survey to all full-time students regarding the compensation they would like to see for the current labour disruption at UPEI. The purpose of the survey was to gather data to inform the UPEISU’s advocacy efforts and ensure that the student population’s opinions were accurately represented.
As part of the Strike Consultation Survey, conducted by the UPEI Student Union, participants were asked to prioritize their preferences for reimbursement options on a scale of one to four. The purpose of this question was to gather insights into what compensation options students considered the most important and what the UPEISU should prioritize in its advocacy efforts.
To provide a better understanding of the results, the survey data has been compiled into pie charts, which can be viewed below. These charts visually depict the data collected from the survey, providing insight into the student body’s opinions regarding compensation for the ongoing labor disruption at UPEI.
If you have any questions about this survey or the data collected, please contact the UPEISU President, Adam MacKenzie, at president@upeisu.ca, or our Policy and Research Coordinator, Noah Mannholland, at prc@upeisu.ca.
