28 Nov UPEISU 5 Days of Cheer
The UPEI Student Union is thrilled to announce the launch of “5 Days of Cheer,” a week-long campaign to spread joy and holiday cheer. This campaign, organized by the Vice-President Student Life, Divya has exciting events and activities for students to enjoy.
The first event, generously sponsored by UPEI Alumni and Affinity Partner, TD, is the Wishing Tree located in the concourse of the W. A Murphy Student Centre.UPEI Alumni and TD’s gracious contribution will allow the UPEISU to grant wishes to 100 lucky students who submit their wishes from Monday, November 27th to Friday, December 1st. The gifts, valued at up to $40 each, will be selected randomly.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to make the holiday season special for our students,” expressed Divya.
The festivities continue with two exciting events at the Fox and Crow. Students can join and win prizes during the Holiday Bingo on November 28th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The following day, November 29th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, students can test their knowledge at the Holiday Trivia event hosted by our host, Owen!
The campaign’s highlight is the Holiday Fair on Thursday, November 29th, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Numerous student vendors will sell different products, including clothing and jewelry. The UPEISU believes this is a great chance to find unique, handcrafted gifts while supporting students.
The 5 Days of Cheer campaign concludes with free hot chocolate and Christmas treats on Friday, December 1st, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the concourse of the W. A Murphy Student Centre.
